Diana Lee Inosanto isn’t just playing a villain—she’s the real deal! Raised around and trained by her godfather, Bruce Lee, and Brandon Lee, she brings authentic martial arts mastery to Morgan Elsbeth. Easily one of my favorite Star Wars villains since Darth Maul (another legendary villain portrayed by a stunt performer). Even more incredible: She does ALL her own stunts at nearly 60. Absolute legend.

I remember asking my older cousin (the Star Wars “expert” in our family) why it looked so jagged and exposed. He just shrugged and said, “It’s under construction,” which… wasn’t exactly satisfying.

Years later, I finally decided to dig deeper. I figured there had to be a reason why the first Death Star was perfectly polished, and the second looked like the galaxy’s biggest DIY project. Turns out, there’s more to it than just construction timing, there were real strategic in-universe reasons.
