Anakin Asked Obi-Wan for Help on Mustafar 🤯

"You were the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them!"
– Obi-Wan Kenobi, Revenge of the Sith

Did You Know?

The name R2-D2 actually came from a moment of pure coincidence! While working on American Graffiti, George Lucas overheard a sound editor asking for Reel 2, Dialogue Track 2 (abbreviated as R-2-D-2) and thought it sounded perfect for a droid.

Later, a Star Wars encyclopedia provided an in-universe meaning, calling it the Second Generation Robotic Droid Series-2 but the real origin was just a happy accident!

Hey Reader, it’s Vance here! 👋

I thought I had Revenge of the Sith memorized. I mean, I’ve seen the Mustafar duel so many times that I can almost hear Battle of the Heroes playing in my head on command.

But then I stumbled upon something I never noticed before.

Right after Obi-Wan defeats Anakin and he’s sliding down that hill, watch his mouth closely. He’s saying something—something that completely changes how I see this scene.

Some fans believe Anakin was begging Obi-Wan for help. And honestly? It makes this moment even more heartbreaking. 💔

Here’s what I found. 👇

In The Last Jedi, Luke still bears the blaster shot he received to his robotic hand in Return of the Jedi. 😱 Hey Reader, it’s Vance here! 👋 When I rewatched Episode V not too long ago, I paused right at that moment, Leia placing something over Luke’s arm. My brain went, “Wait, what is that thing?” I’d seen this movie a dozen times before, but I never stopped to think about that...

“It’s a trap.” - Admiral Ackbar, Return of the Jedi Did You Know? Morgan Elsbeth Is A Real Life Badass Diana Lee Inosanto isn’t just playing a villain—she’s the real deal! Raised around and trained by her godfather, Bruce Lee, and Brandon Lee, she brings authentic martial arts mastery to Morgan Elsbeth.
