Clone Wars' Hidden Detail

“The Emperor is not as forgiving as I am,” Darth Vader warned, a hint of menace in his voice.

Hey Reader, it’s Vance here! 👋

Okay, so I need to share this.

I’ve been deep-diving into The Clone Wars, and there’s this one scene that completely blew my mind.

It’s subtle, but it proves Mace Windu never really trusted Anakin.

I can’t believe I missed it before—it makes their whole relationship even more complicated.

It’s not just in Revenge of the Sith where we see Mace Windu’s cold attitude toward Anakin. There’s another telling moment during The Clone Wars that often goes unnoticed. When Anakin is officially made a Jedi Knight, the entire Jedi Council is present—except for one notable absence: Mace Windu.

As pointed out by fans on Reddit, when Anakin stands in the center of the ceremonial circle, the lightsabers of all the Council members are raised, but there’s no sign of a purple lightsaber. Meaning Mace Windu didn’t even bother showing up to one of the most significant moments in Anakin’s life.

It’s hard not to see this as a deliberate snub, further showing Windu’s lack of respect or trust in Anakin. Even during a time meant to honor Anakin’s growth as a Jedi, Windu’s absence speaks volumes about his true feelings.

So, why did it seem like Mace Windu never trusted Anakin, even to the point of appearing to hate Anakin?

How in the Heck Did Palpatine Know Anakin Had Been Dreaming About Padme Dying? How Did He Know Anakin Was Married at All?

I mean, Anakin wasn’t exactly wearing a sign that said “I’m married to a senator, and I’m freaking out about her dying.”
