Recently, my friend and I got into one of those classic late-night Star Wars debates: Would Anakin have turned into Vader if Qui-Gon Jinn had survived?

At first, I thought it wouldn’t matter much but the deeper we went, the more convinced I became: Qui-Gon surviving could’ve seriously altered Star Wars history.
