Wait, Vader’s Suit Made in Hours?

"He’s more machine now than man. Twisted and evil."
- Obi-Wan Kenobi

Did You Know?

George Lucas built his $4 billion Star Wars empire by accepting a salary of $125,000 for the first film, instead of $1 million. In return, he retained the rights to direct sequels and control licensing, paving the way for massive profits from toys, posters, and merchandise. 🤯

Filming the iconic Empire Strikes Back scroll...

Fun fact: Empire, first released in 1980, was the first Star Wars film to feature an Episode subtitle, that being of course "Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back".

The original Star Wars film did not receive its "Episode IV: A New Hope" subtitle until its theatrical re-release until 1981, a year after Empire first released. When the original Star Wars film first released in 1977 - as well as for its wide theatrical re-releases in 1978 and 1979 - it was known simply as "Star Wars", with no Episode title afterwards.
