I was watching A New Hope with my mom, and she hadn’t seen it since the '70s. Everything was going great—she was loving the nostalgia, pointing out all the things she remembered...

And then we got to the medal ceremony.

She leaned forward, squinted at the screen, and went, “Wait. Why didn’t Chewie get a medal?”

I laughed, but then I realized… this is actually one of the most debated moments in Star Wars history. And the real reason? Well, it’s not as you might think. 🤔👇
