What Went Wrong for Jango Fett?

"I am just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe."
— Jango Fett, Episode II – Attack of the Clones

Did You Know?

The final thing Obi-Wan sees before his death is Luke and Leia united after 19 years, since witnessing their birth.

Hey Reader, it’s Vance here! 👋

I don’t know about you, but I love a good underdog fight. When Jango Fett faced off against Mace Windu, I was ready for a showdown of galactic proportions. Here’s Jango, Mandalorian armor gleaming, dual blasters ready. I was sure we were about to see some wild bounty hunter tricks.

And then… one swing of Mace Windu’s purple lightsaber, and Jango’s career (and head) was over. Just like that. No flamethrower, no grappling hook, not even a single fancy jetpack maneuver. I felt betrayed! How did a guy with so many weapons lose so quickly?

I had to know. Was it the malfunctioning jetpack? Jango’s overconfidence? Or was Windu just that good? After some deep dives into lore and analysis, I found answers—and they’re as fascinating as they are frustrating.

Let’s break it down!👇

Why Jango Fett Died So Easily Without Putting Up Much of a Fight Against Windu?

Grievous feared two Sith and one Jedi for good reasons.👇
